The Tablinum fellowships
Centro Internazionale di Studi di Architettura Andrea Palladio, Vicenza
Stiftung Bibliothek Werner Oechslin, Einsiedeln

Scholarship description

The fellowship is for the purpose of developing a research project in the humanities involving two institutions, possibly with a stay in both: the Centro Internazionale di Studi di Architettura Andrea Palladio, Vicenza and the Stiftung Bibliothek Werner Oechslin, Einsiedeln

Keywords:

  • culture + method: two architecture and humanities libraries lay great store by the historical aspect of their disciplines and believe in a research method based on the exploration of contexts.
  • internationality + multiculturality: we encourage scholars to go beyond their own countries to broaden their range of enquiry.
  • complementarity: we bring together partly overlapping and partly diverse resources and skills.
  • community: we create a community of scholars who will leave tangible signs of their research experience (e.g. commentary on/translation of a book or part of a book) that will give rise to further discussion.
